Award winning Gulf Coast Artists, Susan and Robert Reed have been creating their handcrafted artistic jewelry together for over thirty years. Susan, the principal designer, hand sculpts the unique designs in bees wax, and their distinctive style is easily recognized by the actual impressions from nature. Among them you will find beautiful dragonfly patterns, insect wings, sea life and bird feathers. Robert takes Susan's handmade design and casts it in precious metals, then sets the stones to produce a spectacular, one-of-kind finished piece of jewelry.
Materials used are sterling silver and 14k gold. 24k gold plate is sometimes used for accenting the cast designs. Much of the wire used to complete the pieces is gold-filled wire that is covered with a layer of genuine 14k gold.

Dichroic glass, which is glass coated with brilliant metal oxides that cause it to shimmer and shine with different colors as the viewing angle changes, is created and fused by Robert and Susan to compliment the needs of their hand-finished designs.
